2e2 is proud to be part of a

We value diversity, and are determined to ensure:

- that we provide a safe, supportive and welcoming environment - for delegates, for trainers, for staff and for visitors.
2e2 recognises the value of all members of the community and the contribution to our training provision made by delegates, staff, clients and trainers and the equality of such a contribution.
2e2 is committed to offering a training service which provides equality of opportunity to all and freedom from discrimination on grounds of gender, language, race, religious beliefs, ethnicity, age, HIV Aids, disability, social class or sexual orientation.
This Policy is intended to actively combat discrimination, raise awareness and provide guidelines for delegates, staff, trainers, clients and other stakeholders. It seeks to promote social inclusion, encourage widening participation and ensure equality of opportunity.

The Provision of Programmes of Learning
2e2 is committed to
- providing advice and guidance which is free from bias to enable delegates to access programmes of learning appropriate to their needs.
- providing programmes of training which support social inclusion and widening participation.
- developing 2e2 website and E-Learning solutions to overcome barriers of mobility and accessibility.
- ensuring that any programmes of training supplied by any third party on behalf of The Training Ecademy subscribe to the same equality and diversity principles.
Training Course Content and Delivery
2e2 will:
- seek to ensure that resource materials used to deliver programmes of training will be free from racist, sexist or other discriminatory assumptions, images or language.
- offer single sex programmes of learning where appropriate under Section 47 of the Sex Discrimination Act.
- actively encourage integration of delegates with learning difficulties/disabilities into mainstream provision.
- seek to widen horizons and raise expectations of delegates through the use of positive role models, learning materials and curriculum delivery
- design curriculum to take into full account of progression, access and accreditation of prior learning.
- strive to build into delegates' programmes of training an element of Equality & Diversity awareness raising.
The Training Environment
2e2 will:
- endeavour to create an environment in which delegates and staff feel comfortable regardless of gender, language, race, ethnicity, age, HIV Aids, disability, social class or sexual orientation.
- seek to provide access for people with disabilities for example providing adequate toilet facilities, lifts and ramps to enable people to use 2e2's facilities adequately.
Training
Materials and Publicity
2e2 will:
- ensure that all materials originating from 2e2 used for training will adhere to our policy of diversity and non-discrimination.
- ensure that all materials originating from 2e2 relating to marketing and publicity will be non discriminatory in content and reflect good equality & diversity practice.
- ensure that all advertisements for jobs or trainers reflect 2e2's stance on Equality & Diversity.
- ensure that all forms of communication for example
e-mail and faxes will not contain materials which may offend delegates
and/or staff within the context of this Equality & Diversity Policy
