ATP Course Components
Initial Meeting
Once the course is confirmed delegates should attend an initial meeting with a Course Mentor who can outline the various tools available for instruction and assist with planning the delegates first classes.
The length of time required for each module can be discussed at this stage and the first virtual classes and labs can be scheduled.
Learning Plan
Delegates need to complete a Joining Form on the MCSA 2e2 Training web site, or this can be filled in at the Initial Meeting. The Joining Form is the basis of the Learning Plan and allows the Course Mentor to advise the delegate of a suitable period of time to study the materials and achieve exam success.
Lab days
After self studying two thirds of the Courseware a delegate is ready for an intensive one day lab.
The Lab day is designed to give an overview of the course material and provide an environment for the delegate to resolve any queries they have about the subject. Difficult topics can be clarified and the core principles delivered. Class sizes are limited to 6 or less giving ample Trainer/Delegate interaction with a dedicated network and several Windows 2000 servers in addition to a Pentium IV for each delegate.
Virtual classes
Before the Lab day, after studying a third of the courseware, delegates attend a two hour online virtual chat class. Virtual classes are held between 7pm to 9pm using RoundTable software providing a chat area and a drawing/file download area. The Course Trainer is able to check that delegates are on track and keeping up with their self study.
Virtual classes give an opportunity for delegates to discuss any aspects of their study and allow the Trainer to deliver any extra material required. 2e2 Training has been delivering Virtual classes for over four years and has the resources and techniques to make the two hour sessions focused and highly beneficial for delegates.
