2e2 Achieves newScale Preferred Partner Status
2e2 today announced it signed an agreement with newScale, Inc.
Newbury – 6 July 2007 - 2e2, a leading UK and Netherlands-based provider of mission-critical IT Services and Solutions, today announced it signed an agreement with newScale, Inc., the market leader in IT service portfolio management and service catalogue software solutions, to resell and implement the newScale RequestCenter® service catalogue and newScale AlignmentCenter™ service portfolio management solutions in the UK.
2e2 specialises in assisting customers align IT services with business operations, to improve service, decrease costs and assist companies in adhering to the latest standards in best practice, for example, the recently introduced ITIL version 3 standard. 2e2 has over 100 consultants operating in this space and provides an extensive managed services offering to some of the world’s leading organisations. 2e2 adopted the newScale platform to enhance its capability in the areas of Service Catalogue and Service Alignment.
2e2 has seen an increasing demand - from both its customers and the wider marketplace in these specific areas, partly driven by the recently introduced ITIL V3 but, predominantly, from organisations wishing to have a credible technology that can assist them in achieving long-term strategic goals.
2e2’s service management team is ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) Version 3-certified; it works with executives and technical architects to design appropriate IT solutions.
By encompassing the newScale service catalogue as a core part of its Managed Service proposition, 2e2 believes it will increase its ability to support its clients business by offering clearly understood, consistent, standardised, and rationalised services and appropriate service levels with associated costs to both senior executives and end-users. 2e2 will become the first company in the UK able to offer this service on a hosted basis.
