Launch of consolidated Managed Services offering and Contract Win
2e2 has been awarded a 5 year Managed Services contract by VINCI Park UK.
Newbury, UK – 25 January 2007 - 2e2, a leading provider of mission critical IT Services and Solutions announces today the launch of its consolidated Managed Services offering to be delivered from the Company’s new Managed Services Centre in Newbury. 2e2 is also delighted to announce that VINCI Park UK, the UK’s premier parking services company will take advantage of this offering, having signed a 5 year £1.7m contract with 2e2.
The new group wide offering follows the consolidation of Prime Business Solutions, Norsk Data and TriSys into 2e2, allowing it to provide a unique portfolio spanning unified communications, server and client and data management infrastructures.
The combination of a 24/7 Managed Services Centre and distributed logistics and engineering teams enables 2e2 to provide a balanced portfolio of both shared and dedicated Managed Services. It includes hardware and software support, remote monitoring, a managed service desk for user support, configuration management, co-sourcing, managed WAN and storage solutions. These services are offered standalone or as part of a blended solution enabling 2e2 to provide a tailored approach to the increasing demand for organisations to out-task or outsource key IT services.
In parallel with the launch of the consolidated offering and after a five month vigorous tender process, 2e2 has been awarded a 5 year Managed Services contract by VINCI Park UK. The agreement will see 2e2 providing VINCI Park UK with a Managed Services solution including all of its service lines for its nationwide IT infrastructure.
Under the terms of the agreement 2e2 will deliver a managed service desk together with 24/7 hardware and software support and remote management as well as a technology refresh across their IT estate. It will immediately save VINCI Park UK 15% in annual operating costs which is expected to rise significantly after the technology refresh has been completed and call classification and handling processes have been improved.
