New Intelligent File Virtualisation storage solutions announced by 2e2;
partnership with Acopia Networks expands 2e2’s data management offer
2e2, a leading provider of mission-critical IT services and solutions, has announced a partnership agreement with Acopia Networks®, Inc., a leader in high-performance intelligent file virtualisation.
Under the terms of the partnership 2e2 will offer Acopia’s ARX intelligent file virtualisation solutions to its
- public sector
- financial Markets
- enterprise
- commercial midmarket clients in the UK.
Acopia addresses the problems associated with managing today's rapidly expanding file storage infrastructure, covering any company with large amounts of unstructured data from Global Enterprise companies to rapidly growing start up businesses.
The inclusion of the Acopia ARX product line into 2e2’s well-established Data Management portfolio will provide customers the ability to virtualise their unstructured data, improve more efficient management of information, reduce complexity and cost of their file-based information, by delivering:
- global namespace
- non Disruptive Automated Data Migrations
- tiering of File Data for nfs and cifs
- load balancing
- replication capabilities across heterogeneous storage environments.
The partnership leverages 2e2’s service expertise with Acopia’s product portfolio, to enable
- efficient management of unstructured data
- the underlying infrastructure used to store it on.
