Allen & Overy LLP awards contract in excess of £6m to 2e2

Project implements world class converged IT infrastructure at new Global Headquarters

Prime Business Solutions Ltd, the network services division of the 2e2 Group, announced today that international law firm Allen & Overy LLP has chosen Prime to provide the services to supply, implement and support a high performance converged network infrastructure of voice, video and data across its UK corporate IT operations including a new corporate headquarters in the City of London of 1,000,000 sq ft and a new Datacentre facility.  

Under the terms of the 3 year £6m agreement, Allen & Overy will consolidate communications onto a new converged infrastructure based on market leading technology from Cisco Systems Inc.  The move will support the firm’s strategy to consolidate and centralize overall IT Infrastructure while increasing security, flexibility and performance.  

With approximately 4,800 employees across 25 international locations, Allen & Overy is one of the largest and most respected law firms in the world.  In addition to frequent communications between global offices, the firm requires a massive amount of voice, data and multi-media communication capacity to meet the daily requirements of its clients.

 Prime was successful in competition against many other companies in a "highly competitive" tender managed by Deloitte Consulting.  Prime had no previous business relationship with Allen and Overy.
