2e2 signs 18-month deal with Westminster City Council
Managed training programme supports development project
2e2 Group wins Westminster City Council Contract
The Training E-cademy, the specialist training and education specialist of the 2e2 Group, one of the UK’s leading IT Managed Services providers, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded an eighteen month contract with Westminster City Council.
Established in 1993 to provide innovative IT training solutions, The Training E-cademy offers Managed Training Solutions in all areas of both IT and personal management skills. Their education services can be supplied as a managed, outsourced service or on a classroom basis at their central London education centre.
The Training E-cademy was chosen by Westminster City Council to deliver a substantial part of their new Corporate Training and Development Programme. Out of the eight suppliers, The Training E-cademy has been awarded the largest contract, which will see them delivering courses such as ‘Building High Performing Teams’ and ‘Optimise your Communication Skills’. Whilst the initial contract is for 18 months, depending on the success of the programme, the contract could be developed and extended for a further period of time.
Terry Burt, Chief Executive of the 2e2 Group, commented, “This is an excellent achievement for The Training E-cademy and the Group as a whole, especially as we have been awarded the largest contract. We are now looking forward to a long and successful relationship with Westminster City Council.”
Westminster City Council added “We chose The Training E-cademy because they understood our need to provide a first class training and development programme that supports staff in their efforts to deliver the Council’s challenging vision. It was important to chose a company that would build courses around our Competency Framework as this is the foundation for developing the organisation so that it can deliver services that represent excellence in absolute terms’’.
