Prime nominated as finalists for IP telephony and managed network solutions.
Newbury, Berkshire – October 3rd 2005 – Prime Business Solutions, the network services division of 2e2 Group, are pleased to announce they have been short listed as a finalist for two Reseller categories in the Channel Network Awards 2005; Enterprise Converged Solution and Enterprise IT Solution.
The project short listed for the ‘Enterprise Converged Solution’ was an IP telephony solution for Sea Containers over 4 UK sites, consisting of 450 handsets and incorporating call centre facilities for their IS Help Desk. Sea Containers employs 10,000 staff worldwide and is engaged in two main activities: passenger and freight transport and marine container leasing.
The ‘Enterprise IT Solution’ project entered by Prime was for a £1.2m, 40-month contract to provide a managed MPLS IP VPN to Halcrow encompassing 26 sites across the UK. Halcrow is one of the UK's leading consultancies specialising in the provision of planning, design and management services for infrastructure development worldwide.
The award ceremony is due to take place on Thursday 13th October 2005 at The Grove, Rickmansworth.
