2e2 has the second largest revenue of all companies listed in the 2008 Microsoft Tech Track 100
Berkshire-based IT services and solutions provider, 2e2, has been listed amongst Britain's fastest-growing private technology companies in the 2008 Tech Track 100
Newbury, 3rd October 2008 – Berkshire-based IT services and solutions provider, 2e2, has been listed amongst Britain's fastest-growing private technology companies in the 2008 Tech Track 100. Privately owned UK technology companies are ranked in the listing based on sales growth over the last three years. With 48% annual growth from 2004 to 2008 and revenue of £203 million in 2008, 2e2 is positioned at No 66 nationally.
The South-East overall has proved to be a successful region of the UK, with more than a quarter of the total number of companies listed on the table, being headquartered in this area. The industries in which these businesses operate vary greatly however, ranging from a manufacturer of videoconferencing products in Slough to a customer research agency in Milton Keynes. In total, the South East generates 403million worth of sales. 2e2 provides consultancy, integration and support services to organisations, and as such, as one of just five companies also operating in this space that is featured in the table.
2e2’s significant growth is a result of its acquisitive nature – with 12 companies, including its latest acquisition of Netstore, brought on board to date – and also down to organic growth, which is totalled at 70 per cent overall. The first half of 2008 saw 15 per cent year-on-year revenue growth.
Data was compiled by the Oxford-based independent research and networking events company “Fast Track”, who track Britain’s top-performing private companies, ranging from the fastest-growing to the biggest.
