Our solution is based on industry-leading vendor technology driven by the on-demand concept, including:
- use of server virtualisation wherever possible via VMware Infrastructure Enterprise® for high availability, on demand deployment maximising resource utilisation
- elements of HP Adaptive Infrastructure® for physical provisioning and infrastructure availability
- storage deployment through IBM’s System Storage SAN Volume Controller® (SVC) allowing on demand increases in storage utilising the most appropriate disk
- an enterprise backup environment sharing 2e2’s enterprise class environment.
2e2 employs advanced tools for application level monitoring and management using System Center for Microsoft® applications and Nimbus® for non-Microsoft applications. Enteo® provides the core system capability for ITIL-based service delivery and management processes.
In other words, our approach allows us to commoditise the IT environment and allows our customers to obtain IT services on demand.
